My name is Diane Marshall, I live in Glasgow, Scotland, UK. I have been training dogs all my adult life and decided, that after my children left school, I would pursue a career doing something that I was passionate about, professionally training dogs and puppies using Force Free, Science Based, Positive Reinforcement techniques only . My journey started with courses run by the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers IMDT in 2017 where I qualified as a Pet Dog Trainer and I haven't looked back since. I am now also a fully qualified instructor with the Association of Pet Dog Trainers APDT, a Licensed Canine Body Language Instructor and a Canine Reactivity Specialist with the Dog Training College DTC. I have attended multiple courses and seminars over the years but my proudest moment was becoming a Certified Assistance Dog Trainer with Co-Operative Paws as training an Assistance Dog is hugely different to training a pet dog or puppy. To be able to train a dog to aid a person in their day to day life and make things easier for them just blows my mind at how amazing our dogs are. Dogs are super intelligent and I don't think we give them the credit they really deserve.
When I train dogs in any setting, I always think that it is a real privilege to be working with you and your dog.
